FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Which cities do you currently support? +

Today, our flagship city is Zagreb, Croatia, where we power ZET Info. We're actively partnering with new transit agencies — if your city has GTFS or any real-time data feed, we can usually be live within months. Talk to us.

How do you source real-time data? +

We support GTFS and GTFS-RT, SIRI, NeTEx, and direct AVL or telematics feeds — whatever your operator has. Where official feeds don't exist, we work with the agency to set them up or build secure private data pipelines.

Can we white-label an app for our agency? +

Absolutely — that's the most common engagement. We deliver a fully branded native iOS and Android app published under your agency's developer accounts on the App Store and Google Play, with your colors, logos, line numbering, and any agency-specific features.

What does a kiosk deployment look like? +

We provide the software; you provide the screen. Our display runs in any web kiosk mode — on Android tablets, mini-PCs, or existing digital signage. Per location, we configure the nearest stops, languages, and branding. After launch, you (or we) manage everything from a single web dashboard.

Do you support GTFS / GTFS-RT? +

Yes — natively. GTFS is our lingua franca; we contribute to and rely on the open ecosystem around it. We can also help your agency produce high-quality GTFS / GTFS-RT feeds if you don't yet publish them.

What's your pricing model? +

For apps and custom solutions: a one-time build fee plus a monthly platform & support subscription — scoped to your network size. For kiosks: a per-device monthly subscription with volume discounts. We'll prepare a detailed proposal after a short discovery call.

How do you handle data privacy & GDPR? +

Privacy is a default, not a feature. Our apps don't ship with tracking SDKs or ads. Personal data (when collected at all) is stored in the EU under GDPR-compliant infrastructure. We're happy to sign DPAs and walk through your specific compliance requirements.

Do you offer mobility analytics? +

Yes — but only the good kind. We can produce aggregated, anonymised insights (peak times, popular corridors, transfer patterns) that help agencies plan service. We never expose individual rider journeys, identifiers, or anything that could be used to track a person. See the privacy-first analytics section on Solutions for the details.

How long does a custom solution take? +

For a city app: typically 3–6 months from kickoff to public launch, depending on scope and data readiness. Kiosk deployments can go live in a few weeks. Larger PIS or operations dashboards are scoped per project.

Do you support multilingual cities? +

Yes — our apps and kiosks are built for multilingual use from day one, including right-to-left scripts. We routinely localise into local languages plus English and tourist languages.

Who owns the data and the IP? +

Your agency's data stays your agency's data. App branding and content are yours. Transitopia retains ownership of the underlying platform we license to you — that's how we keep improving it for everyone. Contracts make all of this clear and explicit.
